What's this all about ???

Just typing this is the hardest part. This blog is about a stray cat who adopted us; we named her Fluffy. It's about the the three and half years we spent as a family and we would never trade that short amount of time together for anything in the world.

I know some people would say it's a cat or it's a dog. And to that I would say, you will never understand. You don't know until you walk in someone's shoes comes to mind, which is true in this case. Fluffy wasn't just a fur baby or a family member, no she was greater than that! She was our daughter. I think those that have no children or are not able to have children and who have a pet could probably relate to this.

This is about taking a chance on a stray cat or dog. Perhaps even taking an animal from a shelter. Don't be put off at the way they look. They are looking for a good home and love. Isn't that what we are looking for in life, love? Open up your heart and and you never know what the possibilities may be.

This is about coping with losing a loved one. It could be a daughter, a son, or even a parent. Maybe writing this blog will provide some therapy for that loss. Maybe. We will find out together as we embark on this adventure. It's said, time will heal all wounds. Perhaps. Time is also the monster under the bed. Don't put off something, even a trivial thing like saying I love you. Everything happens so fast and before you know it, you lost that opportunity.

So what is this all about....it is about a cat named Fluffy who rescued us.
